Sign up to indicate your commitment to District Auditions, held at the UW-Madison on Saturday, March 28, 2026. You will need to decide if your student will play 2 or 3 pieces, and also if they will perform duets. Auditions are for grades 1-12 and adults only (no kindergarteners). Auditions are now an open event, and a chaperone is required to be in the room during the audition.
Students who perform 3 pieces are effectively going through the preliminary round of the Regional Competition, which will be held on Saturday, May 9. Only grades 4+ with a minimum score of 18 (including theory test) can qualify for Regionals, but any grade can participate at district with 3 pieces. (Regionals is a separate registration process for those who qualify and wish to go.)
Non-refundable fees are $25 for 2 pieces, $30 for 3 pieces and must be paid by February 21. Duet fees…
